Apple Music added to Billboard Top Charts

Apple Music has got itself in the Billboard 200 Album chart, Hot 100 singles list and many others. Apple’s dominance in the digital download market was well known.

iTunes store sales were already a benchmark in the download industry. Q3 Quarter reported revenue of $5 Billion from iTunes, AppleCare, Apple Pay, licensing and many other services. This number may not be huge if compared with Apple revenues from iDevices but its a major metric on its own.

Increasing popularity of Apple Music and its addition to Billboard gives great sign of another win for Apple.

Three new colors for aging iPod lineups

Apple has finally updated the entire iPod lineup with three new refreshing colors namely, gold, dark blue and hot pink. iPod nano and shuffle only sees the color change while their internals remains the same.

iPod Touch however sees significant internal overhaul. The touch now comes with 64-bit processor and Metal graphics support. There is also a 128 GB ipod touch for video junkies.

This being the current update it will be interesting to see what will be the future iPod generation, as it is a declining business for Apple.
